We prepare students for examinations conducted by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, and the Trinity College of London.

For students of grade 1-8, the practical training includes scales and arpeggios, pieces and sight-readings, once a week on an individual basis. The theory and aural session will be either individual or group depending on the age and grade of the student.

We offer diploma courses which include Advanced Certificate, LRSM, ATCL and LTCL.

Kindermusik

This internationally acclaimed music program is for young children from newborn to 7 years. The following curricula are available:

Kindermusik Core Curriculum

Kindermusik Village	newborns to 18 months

Growing with Kindermusik	3½ to 4½ years
Kindermusik for the Young Child	4½ to 7 years

Kindermusik Music Box (for kindergarten/childcare setting)

Adult Piano Course

This course is designed for those who have no or, a little musical background. Adult can pick up the basic technique of piano playing, within a short of time. Material used include Classical, Pop, Jazz and Blues. This course is conducted in a group setting or on an individual basis.

A. Improvisation at the piano

Target on pianist with musical background who wish to be able to play by ear and improvise on piano. Lesson is one to one basis.

B. Adult Beginners Group

Target on Kindermusik parents and adults who have little or no musical knowledge or background on keyboard to be able to play simple tunes on keyboard in a fun way within 10 weeks.

C. Adult Beginners/re-learn Individual Class

This is for parents and working adults who has little, none, or lots of musical background who and are interested to learn how to play the keyboard at his/her own pace individually.

D. Adult Music Appreciation Class

This is an music course for adult. The topics covered will be :

Basic history of the Western world.
Social history of the Western world.
Major events of the Western world.
Western thought, philosophy, and trends in psychology.
History and tenets of the Christian faith.
Basic music history.
Study of the mail characteristics of each period.
Instrumentation and basic mechanics if each.
Basic theory and score reading.
Major structures and forms.
Listening.
Music and its links to media and other areas.

Akademi Muzik S.I.M. - Twining with The University of Western Australia

The Academy is the first music academy in Malaysia to establish music twining program with an Australian University. Degrees offered include:
